I was talkin about this blog at work today with some friends, and a lot of them told me whole foods discourages people from blogging about working there, and they made me paranoid saying i should make sure not to put my picture up and stuff like that.
maybe i should start blogging about something else, i have no idea what else i would blog about though.
Boo! I like hearing about your time working @ Whole foods. And yeah, some companies will give you shit for posting pictures. I had a friend who worked at a place like that and they had strict rules about taking pictures of the work place. I think you can talk about it all you want, but you aren't allowed to post pictures of where you work and the people there without their permission.. look into it dude. hopefully you can continue.
ReplyDeleteI'd rather read about a person's life on a blog than some random world wide news that everybody knows about. Just my 0.02 cents.
ReplyDeletejust do it , they cant exactly track you unless you post a pic
ReplyDeleteIts only if you give away some secret like your branch is putting old crap out on the shelves or something. As long as its not making them look bad they don't care.
ReplyDeleteChange your blog title to 'Hole Foods'.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Allebanna on this one!
ReplyDeleteYeah, just don't post anything that would let them trace back to you.
ReplyDelete+follow, btw. This is actually interesting...
ReplyDeleteAt my work they know my blog, but I will not post real images from myself in it. I guess if anyone really wants to investigate you, it will be so easy with the huge info through the web, but I wont post my real info in the blog anyway xD
ReplyDeletejust dont post pictures or real names and you will be fine :D
ReplyDelete+followed!
Keep doing what you're doing - just don't post a picture, and you're gravy.
ReplyDeleteDon't post anything that would be obvious not to post and youl be fine.
ReplyDeleteYou'll be cool. I like hearing about what heppens behind the scenes at places.
ReplyDeleteDon't slander the company, don't post secrets or behind the scenes stuff, don't give out info and you should be okay.
ReplyDeleteAs long as there is anonimity in the blogs, then why will there be any trouble? Thanks for posting, great blog, followed.
ReplyDeleteSome companies have strict policies about employees bloggin out stuff about them. They prefer they PR department to handle that.. Just keep a low profile. Good luck
ReplyDeleteyeah, as long as your blogs have anonymity, you're fine. don't let the internet scare you.
